this is almost my time of aircraft spotting. in my case it was 1963-8. my mothers uncle at the time was manageing director of Clacksons "court line" until they went bust.
I've just spent the best part of the afternoon trawling through that excellent website which brought back many happy memories - especially the airport views: terraces, inside and out. It has changed so much in the intervening years that I'd forgotten what it actually looked like inside in the '70s. I also found myself rattling off the registrations of the Ringway Regulars without a second thought and even now I can ID specific (long defunct) airframes to certain (long defunct) plates. How sad is that? Marvellous stuff!
