I agree with whitehatter from the last thread
Although I am adamantly for Airbus, I love seeing these old boeings flying around the UK
and if it makes my favourite EU carrier make money, keep them.
News posted over at a.net
Allegiant now have their ETOPS and other permissions in place. Service to Hawaii starts soon, with other markets kicking in later this year. As they already have 757s over there those should be able to begin the services, but I would expect LSAL and LSAM to be off across the pond as our summer finishes and the Hawaii season in the US
starts in November.
What would be interesting is if Jet2 have done an Air Florida/Air Europe type deal with the planes coming back here for our summer season, which is low season in some US
markets. Used to be a regular thing, with Britannia also taking aircraft in the summer from Canadian operators who serviced the snowbird market and then had spare capacity in summer.
Is that why Jet2Holidays branded aircraft have the basic Allegiant colours? Some kind of deal i wondered, but doesnt explain the 738's..
They were painted for Allegiant before LS
took them on lease. If you get really anal about it and examine the photos, there's a slight difference in the colours. The "sun" on the two 757s isn't the same as the Jet2holidays livery on the others.
I think that as part of the deal Jet2 were able to use the basic Allegiant livery for their logojets. I can't see Allegiant wanting to take the 733 and 738s on winter lease somehow. Their fleet is MD
80 and 757 based.
Jet2 will be operating the Manchester to Faro service LS
875 with a Leeds-Bradford based aircraft this afternoon. Passengers will be bussed over the hill and the flight will depart at 16:45.
The said aircraft will operate the inbound LS
876 direct to Manchester then position back into Leeds at 00:55 as LS
Jet2's latest Boeing 737-300, G-GDFH (Ex LN-KKC) was ferried from Belgrade to Bournemouth today's as EXS
052K to receive a paint job. The aircraft should be delivered to Leeds next week for seat fitting in the Multiflight hanger.
Boeing 737-300, G-CELG was driven into and badly damaged down in Barcelona on Sunday afternoon. It is expected that the aircraft will be flown back to the UK
tomorrow for a full assessment and repair to take place, So while the LBA
base is short of an aircraft the spare back up Boeing 757-200, G-LSAC which is normally MAN
based is currently working as a replacement.
According to Planespotters.net EXS
have taken delivery of another B737-300 ex SN
OO-VEG and will become G-GDFL.
Just to add it has got winglets fitted
Excellent, 733 with winglets
any idea where it might be being based? I'm guessing it will do routes like the canaries and madeira due to the winglets, could jst2 roll out winglets on more 733's if this is the case? Hoping it'll be in normal jet2 livery.
The investment in an elderly 733 might not justify the winglets. They take a number of years to pay off in fuel burn and an older plane could end up costing more than it saves to fit them.
SkyEurope did a few as they were ex-Easyjet and not that old. Thomson ended up with one of them (THOO)
Would it be for the Dalaman route at BLK
It could possibly be, although a 757 would be better
Then again a normal 733 can do BLK
When is G-LSAN starting service?
Boeing 737-300 G-GDFH was finally delivered to Leeds yesterday afternoon after been painted down in Bournemouth. She has been put into the Multiflight hanger to have her new interior and seats installed and should enter service either this coming weekend or maybe early next week.
The good news keeps on coming for Leeds/Bradford.
As Jet2 have today announced another new route from Leeds for next Summer 2013 with a once weekly service to Zante - (Zakynthos) commencing from Wednesday, May 22nd.
Yeah, from Manchester too (on MAN
forum) both flights on wednesday and both at exactly the same time.
Jet2 will now no longer have the planned a 4th Boeing B757-200 at LBA
next summer. Instead the plan has been change. LBA
will now lose 1x Boeing 737-300 and gain 2x New Boeing 737-800's and also see routes to Palma, Alicante & Malaga been increased to 3x daily on peakdays. Also extra flights been added to Mahon and Crete along with a new route to be announced later this week.
Meanwhile the latest Boeing 757-200, G-LSAN was positioned from Southend up to Norwich today for Paint and should be delivered to Leeds for Cabin fitout and Seats later this week. So not too long to wait for it to enter service now.
Can anybody sum up the new routes, frequency's and what aircraft please?
Jet2 have just released for sale a new route from Leeds-Bradford to Pula (Croatia) for summer 2013.
Once weekly flights will operate every Sunday morning commenceing from May 23rd and run until the end of September.
Flight times as follows
225 = Leeds 07:45 - Pula 11:30
226 = Pula 12:15 - Leeds 14:00
The 23rd may is a thursday.
Yeah got me date wrong, Should be Sunday, May 26th
haha, no worries, great to see LS
expanding considering they were on the brink a few years ago.
Jet2 are having to lease yet another aircraft due to problems with Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELP.
Avion Express Airbus A319-112 LY-VEU (ex US
) is positioning in from Budapest as EXS
043A to operate this afternoon's LS
315/316 Paris Cdg and the evening LS
327/328 Belfast Int'l flights. It will night stop tonight and continue to operate from LBA
tomorrow and also maybe Tuesday.
Oh dear, heres hoping for tuesday, 3 LS
subs possibly :/ at least they're on top of it this year though. Bets on the next aircraft to go tech, I'm going to say G-LSAG simply because I'm due to be on it on thursday.
As i posted in the Movements thread Jet2 currently have on lease based at LBA
, Germania, B737-700, D-AGET, Avion Express Airbus A319, LY-VEU and Fly Hello, Airbus A320, HB-JIZ.
The Fly Hello aircraft has replaced the Cosmo Airlines A320, LY-COM which positioned out in the early hours of this morning to Madrid as EXS
It is hoped both the Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAN and Boeing 737-300WL, G-GDFL should be in service within the next 10 days based at Leeds to replace some of these leased machines.
Considering GDFB was only bought to provide spare cover it's turning out to be a hectic summer again! At least JAT
Technik will be on the hook for the dodgy skin business on the one they apparently missed the stress cracking on.
I know it's not strictly LBA
related, but it strikes me that Jet2 seem to lead something of a charmed life when it comes to adverse publicity, whereas, if it was Ryanair bussing passengers over the hill on a regular basis, the world and his dog would be laying into them from every conceivable direction.
Jet2 have finished with the use of the Avion Express Airbus A319, LY-VEU due to the fact that the tech Boeing 737-300QC which diverted from Newcastle in on Saturday night has now been fixed. She had a test flight this morning that saw the aircraft do some circuit bashing here at LBA
operating as EXS
It is thought that the aircraft will re-enter revenue service this afternoon operating the EXS
Missed HB-JIZ too, do you know what happened with it?
Also, can anyone tell me the status of G-LSAL, it arrived into LBA
from Mahon yesterday and after about an hour it was towed over to multiflight, is it being stripped for returning to allegiant?
Boeing 757-200, G-LSAH is due to return to LBA
this evening as EXS
041A after it's decompression incident on Tuesday down in TFS
. It requires all it's oxygen and masks putting back in so will be out of service for a few days longer.
Boeing 757-200, G-LSAA will return to MAN
later this evening after going tech last night in BJV
and the crew running out of hours. LBA
based Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAL was sent to MAN
this morning to help out as EXS
042A and it will position back to LBA
this evening as EXS
By doing this left the LBA
base short of a B757 today. So the EXS
services have seen flights been doubled up using 2x Boeing 737-300's
1x off the LBA
based Boeing 737-300's will be swapped with a MAN
based aircraft this evening. EXS
will position from MAN
032E will go LBA
Good news to report is that Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAN is due to position into LBA
from Southend tomorrow morning at 10:00 as EXS
051D and will enter service sometime on Sunday. Also Boeing 737-300, G-GDFH has had its skin repaired, It was pulled out of the Multiflight hanger this morning and will operate a test-flight tomorrow afternoon between 13:00-14:00 as EXS
Meanwhile the leased Airbus A319, LY-VEU and Airbus A320, LY-COM will no longer be required on lease so both aircraft will position out of LBA
on Sunday evening.
Well Jet2 latest Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAN has actually just been delivered to LBA
about 12 hours earlier than planned. She should be entering service on Sunday by all accounts.
G GDFH out of Leeds now(2035hrs) as EXS
055B........According to FR
Jet2's latest Boeing 757-200, G-LSAN made its first revenue service this morning operating the LS
271 to Alicante. But the bad news it ended up diverting into Paris-Cdg for some unknown reason.
2x Boeing 737-300's have been sent out this afternoon to pick up the passenger's and take them down to Alicante before doing the returning EXS
272 service back to Leeds.
Meanwhile, bmi baby, Boeing 737-500, G-BVKB has now been leased by Jet2.
I wonder of it's the fuel system playing up again on LSAN? They need to get it sorted and quickly as LSAL/M are due to leave for the USA soon.
Seems LSAN had a cracked windshield so just unlucky!
Deary deary me. Problematic airyplanes!!!
Forgot about LSAH's decompression incident, just remembered when you mentioned it (I was on it on monday). Do you know whats happening with G-LSAG?
Good news about G-GDFH, bad news about G-LSAN.
What are the chances I'll get G-BVKB on saturday going to milan?
LSAN is a quick repair, been involved in a few of them in the past. A bit more complicated than a car windscreen but not a huge job.
You don't want BVKB. Baby interiors are crap. They have no money to spend on stuff like that so the entire fleet was on minimum maintenance for interiors.
well a 735 is shorter bodied than a 733 but has the power of a 737-400 so they can shift a bit! There is a cost though, higher fuel burn which is why they are not so popular apart from in Russia where they have their uses.
I really hope it does operate the Milan flight, but yeah I see what you mean and if it's not operating my flight, RUSSIA HERE I COME!!!!!
Avion Express A319, LY-VEU and the bmi baby B7
35 are no longer working for Jet2. The only leased aircraft that's still based at Leeds is the Germaina, Boeing 737-00, D-AGET.
Saying that things may change, As it seems that Newcastle based B7
L, G-GDFL has gone tech down route in Pisa this evening. The Leeds based B7
33, G-CELU has just been positioned out empty to bring back the stranded passengers.
Oh dear oh dear. I'll kust hope for a holidays plane.
Looks like Jet2 maybe having problems again.
Newcastle based Boeing 757-200, G-LSAG went tech down route in Tenerife last night. The spare Leeds based Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAN was positioned out empty this morning as EXS
041A to pick up the stranded pax.
Meanwhile Spare Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-GDFH was again sent up to Newcastle this morning as EXS
043A to help cover some flying duties today.
Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-GDFB was positioned out to Manchester this morning as well.
And to make matters worse it looks like Glasgow based Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAL has a problem as its also just made an emergency landing squawking 7700 into Frankfurt while operating the EXS
157 service to Cyprus-Paphos.
Jet2 are having to lease in yet more again aircraft this weekend due to 3x tech aircraft, Namley G-CELX at EMA
and G-CELO & G-CELY which are parked up at Multiflight here at LBA
. Adding to that G-CELB didn't help with its emergency divert to MAN
yesterday, But i'm pleased to say that she is back in service today.
Anyway first to appear was Avion Express, A319, LY-VEU which positioned into LBA
on Friday and then after 2 days operating she positioned over to MAN
yesterday afternoon to operate for Monarch.
Then Swiftair MD
82, EC-JUF positioned into LBA
from Madrid yesterday afternoon to operate the delayed Toulouse service last night and just now Danish Air Transport MD
87, OY-JRU has positioned into LBE
from Billund as EXS
Avion Express, Airbus A319, LY-VEU is again back on lease to Jet2 based at Leeds-Bradford.
Jet2's Discovery weekend trips are now on sale and will operate to Reykjavik, Marrakech and St, Petersburg in April and May as follows from Leeds-Bradford.
4015 = Leeds 08:00-Marrakech 11:00 = Friday, April 26th
4016 = Marrakech 17:00-Leeds 21:05 = Monday, April 29th
4015 = Leeds 08:00-Marrakech 12:00 = Saturday, May 11th
4016 = Marrakech 17:00-Leeds 21:05 = Tuesday, May 14th
4011 = Leeds 07:30-Reykjavik 09:20 = Friday, May 3rd 2013
4012 = Reykjavik 18:00-Leeds 21:50 = Monday, May 6th 2013
4017 = Leeds 07:30-St. Petersburg 13:50 = Saturday, May 4th
4018 = St. Petersburg 18:00-Leeds 18:30 = Tuesday, May 7th
4017 = Leeds 07:30-St. Petersburg 13:50 = Friday, May 10th
4018 = St. Petersburg 18:00-Leeds 18:30 = Monday, May 13th
Yep, the flights also operate from Newcastle and Edinburgh too, although Edinburgh does not have the option of Marrakech I believe. Also all of the flights are to be operated on 737 300's.
Gutted that I didnt win the competition and even more gutted that they are during school term time.
Will these flights be regular like the New York flights? Perhaps even a few times a year, after all each of them are all year round destinations.
Jet2's Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAL is now at Leeds, sat in the Multiflight hangar having its end of lease check and titles removed.
It is expected to depart the fleet in the next few days heading out over the Atlantic to its owners Allegiant. Boeing 757-200, G-LSAM is expected to follow shortly afterwards as well.
How's that going to effect Jet2 then? Are they still short on a/c? Is the arrangement to get them back again in S2013?
The leased Allegiant Boeing 757-200 G-LSAL & M will not be coming back next summer 2013. Also been told that no more 757 are going to be acquired so the fleet will be one aircraft shorter next year as G-LSAN was classed as a replacement aircraft. I think the long term plan for Jet2 at the minute is to get more B737-800%u2019s
No they not short of aircraft now as the summer flying programme has started to be wound down with some of the summer sun routes are finishing and other routes seeing frequencies been reduced. The 757 fleet over the next few weeks will in fact be busy operating hajj charters to Jeddah from several UK
airports. Then they will be operating quite a few other Charters over the winter period. I hear there are some really interesting places that the aircraft and crews will be visiting.
Does anyone know what interior the two Allegiant aircraft currently have? Did LS
take out the TOM
seats and fit the red low weight ones?
there might be a slight delay with LSAM as it had that hydraulic failure and diversion to Faro yesterday http://www.avherald.com/h?article=4576a3b8&opt=0
Jet2.com Boeing 757-200, N9
V (ex G-LSAL) left Leeds-Bradford for the very last time yesterday afternoon as EXS
heading to Bangor Maine in the USA for end of lease hand over to Allegiant.
According to jethros LSAM is at Manchester waiting for handover as well. I wonder if LS
might just take them back for summer lease? Allegiant do most of their Hawaii business in winter as that's when Americans tend to go there, and they recently cancelled some proposed new 757 routes as forward bookings were poor.
The position regarding the planes has changed and Allegiant may have excess capacity to lease out in their quiet season. Their friends at Jet2 would possibly be the first they approach. I do know LSAN was acquired partly to cover for these when they go, and future expansion is planned using the 738, but if the deal is right next summer who knows. Allegiant is buying British planes in bulk at the moment with those Easyjet A319s as well (and they look smart!)
Think you'll find that Allegiant Boeing 757-200, N9
03NV (ex Jet2 G-LSAM) is currently parked at Leeds-Bradford in storage awaiting its delivery to the USA. It has been here since October 17th when it positioned in from Faro after its emergency landing there. It has since had it "Jet2holidays" titles removed and its end of lease check done at Multiflight.
are jet2 due any more aircraft
be back for S1
3? I just flew this weekend on the LS
431 / 432 and both flights were packed (was a few empty seats on the inbound BUD
last night). Only issue is at BUD
yesterday they trialled a new system, boarding 3 LS
) at the same time, it was an absolute farce, one bloke even got on the wrong plane.
Quoting virgin330, from a previous post
are jet2 due any more aircraft
six new 738s to be added by Summer 2013. Now for the speculation as to where they will come from.
My bet is some from Thomson who have their early 738s being replaced by later build models. However they could literally be from anywhere as there are so many in service.
Yep that is correct whitehatter there should be 10x B737-800's in the fleet by next summer based as follows.
By way Glasgow will be losing both its based B737-800's with in the next few weeks or so just leaving 1x B757 based up there during the quite winter period. 1x aircraft is heading to MAN
whlist the other is heading to LBA
. This is so to get crews trained up for next summer. It also allows for G-GDFC & G-GDFD to be swapped between LBA
bases, so that they can under go some maintenance in the hangar at Multiflight thats well over due...
The second Allegaint Boeing 757-200WL, N9
03NV (ex Jet2.com G-LSAM) departed Leeds-Bradford on its hand back after end of lease earlier this afternoon with a direct ATC clearance to Bangor Maine (USA).
Jet2's Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELR has now returned to service after having its C-Check completed. Boeing 737-300, G-CELC has now gone for its C-Check so will be out of service for a while.
Meanwhile Boeing 737-300, G-CELF is currently in the Multiflight hangar having some down time and maintance done to it, Hence she has been out of service since November 1st.
Jet2 will base it's 1st Boeing 737-800 at LBA
starting as from tomorrow, Wednesday 21/11/12 as one of its 4x aircraft in the fleet is due to position in at 19:50 from Glasgow as EXS
Well it was the plan to operate a Boeing 737-800 into Leeds from Glasgow today, But that's now changed seen as G-GDFJ is out of service and tech at Manchester and has not operated since 15/11/12.
So the sole remaining Glasgow based G-GDFD was sent to Manchester as EXS
146C this afternoon to help cover meanwhile Boeing B757-200, G-LSAI was positioned into Leeds as EXS
So all 4x of Jet2's Boeing 737-800's ARE currently at Manchester for the time been..
We should start seeing the first of the next batch coming in soon as well. Registrations have been assigned by the look of it.
ready for Summer 2013 means delivery in winter and the trip to the hangars for new interiors, maintenance and painting. Looks like LBA
get the Travel Service one as well next summer which is doing what Strategic did at Manchester. So with that, it's five extra 738s due for next summer and an A320 down at EMA
from somewhere (source Jethros http://jethros.org.uk/fleets/fleet_listings/jet2.htm
Jet2 are re-painting Boeing 757-200WL's G-LSAB and G-LSAE from there currently Jet2 silver & Red Livery into the Jet2holidays livery.
The following aircraft are out off service having c-checks. Boeing 737-300's G-CELH, G-CELU are both in Budapest whilst G-CELD is down in Belgrade. As looks like Boeing 737-800WL is parked up at Manchester as a spare back up aircraft as its not flown since late November.
Jet2 will start to base its first Boeing 737-800 at Leeds/Bradford commencing from this Saturday, December 29th. The aircraft been allocated will be G-GDFF which is currently Manchester based. It will position over to Leeds early Saturday morning to operate the EXS
285/286 Geneva rotations.
It will mainly operate on routes to Malaga, Tenerife, Arrecife & Geneva to begin with by the looks of things. Flight deck will initially mainly be from Manchester because the Leeds based crews hav'nt been on the 737NG rating courses as yet, But they should be doing so in early January.
Fleet update as off Saturday 05/01/13
B757-200WL, G-LSAC & G-LSAE have now both been repainted from there Jet2 Sliver and Red livery in to the Jet2holidays colours at Air Livery in Norwich
B757-200, G-LSAA is currently sat in London Luton have some Maintenance work done
B737-300's, G-CELH, G-CELU & G-GDFE are all down in Budapest having c-checks
B737-300, G-CELD is in Belgrade having a c-check
B737-800WL, G-GDFD is due to position into Leeds to have some Maintenance work done at Multiflight.
Also Jet2 will open a new base at Alicante this summer 2013 season. 1x Boeing 737-300 will be based at the Spanish airport and will only operate 7 weekly flights to existing bases. It will also act as a spare back up aircraft for the fleet in the afternoon.
Jethros is reporting LS
have picked up three more 733s for Summer 2013 introduction, as well as a third leased-in aircraft (a Titan 757 to be based at MAN
B737-800's G-GDFF & J have both been into LBA
for Maintenance and now returned to MAN
B737-300, G-CELH & G-GDFE have both returned from Belgrade after having C-checks. G-CELX has now gone the other way.
Also here are details of the 8x aircraft that Jet2 are said to have acquired and should be delivered before the start of the summer season.
G-GDFM = B737-36N
(Ex Brussels Airlines OO-VEN)
G-GDFN = B737-33V
-W (Ex Air Baltic YL-BBK)
G-GDFO = B737-3UV (Ex Thomson Airways G-THOP)
G-GDFP = B737-8Z
9 (Ex Austrian Airlines OE-LNJ)
G-GDFR = B737-8Z
9 (Ex Austrian Airlines OE-LNQ)
G-GDFS = B737-36M
(Ex bmi baby G-TOYJ)
G-GDFT = B737-36Q (Ex bmi baby G-TOYM)
G-GDFV = B737-85F
(Ex Air Algeria/Travel Service EC-LKO)
So by the summer the fleet should be 53 aircraft as follows.
22x = B737-300 - G-CELB/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/S/U/V & G-GDFB/G/H/K/M/O/S/T
8x = B737-300QC - G-CELA/O/P/R/X/Y/Z & G-GDFE
1x = B737-300F - G-CELW
2x = B737-300WL - G-GDFL/N
5x = B737-800 - G-GDFF/J/P/R/V
2x = B737-800WL - G-GDFC/D
6x = B757-200 - G-LSAA/D/G/H/I/J
5x = B757-200WL - G-LSAB/C/E/K/N
Plus leased fleet
1x = A320-200 (Leased from Hamburg Airways to be based EMA
1x = B737-800WL (Leased from Travel Service to be based LBA
1x = B757-200 (Leased from Titan Airways to be based MAN
Apparently some of the 757 fleet are to get a respray too, into the Jet2holidays billboard scheme. I read the other day that G-LSAC may be losing its silver along with another silver one (could be LSAB)
Yeah Boeing 757's G-LSAC & G-LSAE have both been repainted into the Jet2holidays colour's recently
Lots of big changes at LS
. New 733s now registered, 738s to follow, and the A320 lease from hamburg Airways cancelled. Two 738W will now come from Travel Service, one for LBA
and one at EMA
Other aircraft seem to be rotating through heavy maintenance, repaints and interior mods for the summer season. Jet2 is starting the year with an expanded fleet which says to me a new base is imminent.
anyone? Stansted will probably see jet2holidays routes before long. Even Blackpool is expanding very slowly and steadily with their one based 733. Happy days at LBA
's resident airline.
Jet2's New York Christmas Shopping trips are now on sale. Flights will be operating to Newark once again from Leeds/Bradford, East Midlands, Glasgow, Newcastle and new additional departures from Manchester are included.
11:00 = THU 14/11/13 / LS
07:50 = SUN 17/11/13
11:15 = THU 14/11/13 / LS

11:15 = THU 12/12/13 / LS
08:00 = SUN 15/12/13
11:00 = THU 12/12/13 / LS
10:00 = SUN 15/12/13
Looks like one less EMA
flight this time.
Jet2 are to take delivery of there latest Boeing 737-300, G-GDFO (ex Thomson, G-THOP) this evening. She is due to position up to Leeds/Bradford from Southend as EXS
Is this due to be in the holidays livery?
Does anyone know if G-GDFL (winglets and LSHolidays colours) has had the interior redone yet? It's up at BLK
again at the moment and I expect those winglets are working well on the short runway
Jet2 latest Boeing 737-800WL, G-GDFR was UK
registered last week and ferried from Shannon to Southend last Friday for per service works. Sister ship, Boeing 737-800WL, G-GDFP was UK
registered on Thursday and was ferried from Shannon to Southend yesterday afternoon.
Due to late deliveries of aircraft and several of the older fleet either been away on C-check or been re-painted Jet2 are leasing in 4x aircraft over the next few days.
Titan Airways Boeing 757-200, G-ZAPX at Manchester
Smart Wings Boeing 737-800 OK-TVP & Transavia Boeing 737-800, PH-HZD at East Midlands.
Albastar Airlines Boeing 737-400, EC-LNC at Leeds/Bradford
Boeing 737-800WL, G-GDFR was delivered in full Jet2 Sliver and Red livery to Manchester airport from Bournemouth yesterday evening and it now ready to enter service. G-GDFP is the next aircraft due for a paint job and should be positioning to Bournemouth from Southend with-in the next few days.
Meanwhile Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELA returned to the UK
this past weekend after having its C-check completed in Budapest and has been swapped with Boeing 737-300QC, G-GDFE which went the following direction a week ago.
G-ZAPX is down for four days a week at MAN
all summer. Thursday to Sunday, for their peak traffic days.
recent pics of G-GDFP in Austrian basic colours show a red painted rudder section, so I would guess that's going to be silver with the red tail as well.
Jet2 yesterday to delivery of Boeing 737-300WL, G-GDFN (ex YL-BBK). She was flown from Riga to Norwich as EXS

Also several rumours have been going around lately that Jet2/Dart group was looking to relocate some of its Office based staff. Yes even the new business park at Manchester was mentioned. But the good news is that it was confirmed today that Dart Group PLC will remain Yorkshire based as it has done a deal to acquire several floors of office space at The Mint block in Leeds City Centre.
Up to 200 new jobs will be created in expanding the airline and holidays business. The group will be moving its customer contact centre, finance, IT
and human resource operations to the new office, and will be home up to 700 staff when fully operational later this year. In doing so, it will allow the group to devote more space to the operational side of its Airline at its Low Fare Finder House at Leeds Bradford Airport.
