Low cost carrier Norwegian is to operate a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner on selected flights from Gatwick to Oslo next month. The new generation twin-jet will be deployed on the route on Mondays and Fridays between July 4 and August 4. The announcement comes ahead of Europe's third largest budget carrier receiving its first Dreamliner at the end of June. It will operate on the Selected European routes before entering into long haul service.

Sorry, Travel Weekly isn't correctly informed. The Mondays and Fridays combination is reserved for Oslo to Alicante and Oslo to Barcelona. The correct two week days for Gatwick are Thursdays and Sundays:
You can get a daytrip to Oslo with Norwegian for as low as GBP102 seating reservation included - the flight out in the morning will be with one of the Boeing 737-800 with free WiFi and the return flight will be the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
