332 diverted in today due to a sick passenger.
not worked out what's been happening.
diverted to BHX
1812 diverted to EMA
6432 just diverted in from LPL
I often put the radio on for a while after 22.30 but of course didn't last night.
Are they doing work on 05L this week by any chance with 05R being used for departures - although there aren't too many at that time?
But that makes the divert in from LPL
Don't seem to be any notams so probably not planned work.
Two issues at the same time. Man inbound had hydraulic problem, may not have been able to vacate05L if steering out. Liv had a fire evacuation and not accepting traffic. With no close alternate available two or three Man inbounds immediately opted to divert.
Man inbound lands and vacates ok, runway reopens and Liv diversion accepted.
Thanks for the explanation seahawks.
I know MAN
can be quite busy at that time anyway, even having to use Director frequency on occasions.
Three diversions last night, two EXS
757's and one TOM
738. Guessing from Leeds and Doncaster.
